Description

Depart Melbourne and travel through the city's south eastern suburbs and onwards to the Gippsland region.

Visit The Gurdies boutique regional winery, with wine tasting included. Enjoy a guided tour of the regional fauna park with lots of interesting information provided a range of native species including kangaroos, koalas, wallabies, emus, wombats and even Tasmanian Devils.

Travel on to Phillip Island itself with a chance to visit the spectacular Cape Woolamai Surf Beach and appreciate the powerful swells of the Southern Ocean as they pound relentlessly at the island's southern coastline. Panoramic views include the Nobbies, rugged rocky outcrops abundant in marine life, and Seal Rocks, the home of Australia's largest population of fur seals.

Just after dark every night the world's smallest penguins waddle ashore after spending the day fishing out at sea. Be truly enchanted as the stars of the show emerge from the surf and pass right before your eyes on their journey back to their homes.

For an exclusive viewing experience, upgrade to the more personalized "Ultimate Penguin Experience". You will enjoy a ranger interpretation in a more natural setting.

After the penguin parade, explore the Visitor Centre before beginning your journey back to Melbourne.
