Lamington National Park Day Tour
Lamington National Park is part of the World Heritage Listed Central Eastern Rainforest Reserves. It is the largest protected area of sub tropical rainforest in Australia.Your day starts with a scenic drive up to the Lamington Plateau. Enjoy morning tea overlooking the Numinbah Valley from Binna Burra. Your first walk of the day is a 1.2 km Subtropical and Cool Temperate Rainforest circuit. Set stride and spot a wallaby or two. Your guide provides you with an insight into these ancient forests.
Your second walk is the Bellbird circuit to Bellbird Lookout. View Egg Rock and learn how this area has formed. What geological process has created the dramatic landscape? With fantastic views back to the coast and all the way to Moreton Bay, stand on the edge of a 90 m cliff and view the rainforest from above. Try to beat the record of 13 people inside the giant Black Butt Tree.
It's time to leave Lamington National Park and head for Mt Tamborine. Stop off for a picnic lunch at the launch pad for hang gliders and take in the stunning views of the Great Dividing Range.
After lunch, start one of your two walks at Tamborine. Witches Falls is a beautiful circuit walk featuring massive strangler figs with root systems as large as a person, and stunning palm groves. The last walk is a short trip to see the Beautiful Curtis Falls, an idyllic waterfall offering a beautiful swimming hole and peaceful surrounds.

Departure Point and Time, and Hotel Pick-up
This tour departs from Level 3, Brisbane Transit Centre, Roma Street, Brisbane. Alternatively, hotel pick up is available from most Brisbane or GoldCoast centrally located hotels. Please advise your full hotel name and address at time of booking.
Departure time from Brisbane is 7.00 am and from the Gold Coast is 8.30 am. Please note that hotel pick-ups start prior to these times. The tour concludes at the original point of departure.
