About Us - Marysville Patisserie and Fudge Kitchen

Christine and Ashraf Doos, both chefs - Christine from England and Ashraf from Egypt - have combined creativity and style and attention to detail to produce the most appealing Marysville Patisserie & Fudge Kitchen. In a peaceful and pretty garden setting with a small river, and outside seating for up to 45 people, Marysville Patisserie is just delightul in the warmer months, while the woodburning heater makes it comfortable and cosy in the cooler months.

Beautifully presented food with an Egyptian/Middle Eastern influence, a selection of fine wines, a range of products, including some of our own and our own wonderful fudges, make a visit to Marysville Patisserie & Fudge Kitchen a must.

Main meals

Our lunch choice includes: *a variety of quiches and salad, *local mountain ash smoked trout and avocado salad, *a ploughman's lunch with smoked turkey, smoked lamb, ham, cheddar, chutney and crusty country bread, *Middle Eastern salad with grilled chicken, fetta, olives, and sundried tomato, *Egyptian falafel with hoummas, pitta and salad, *soup of the day served with a country style roll, *gourmet pies, salad and fries (beef, mushroom and Guinness or chicken, leek and mushroom), *grilled lamb on ciabetta with hoummas, marinated chargrilled vegetables with salad and fries, *lasagne and salad, *smoked salmon and cream cheese on rye with salad and fries, *traditional Caesar salad with chicken or smoked salmon, *baked vegetable strudel with salad and tomato salsa, and *a variety of dips with Turkish and crisp pitta.

Wine

We are licensed and our wines are offered by the bottle or glass and include wines from the King Valley, Goulburn Valley and Yarra Valley. Our wines include Toka (Yarra Valley), Pizzini (King Valley) and Rivergum (McWilliams). We have our own blend - Bianco (white) and Roso (red). Alternatively you can BYO wine (corkage charged).

Cakes etc

We do Devonshire teas (2 scones, jam, cream and a beverage), fabulous cakes and tarts (including fruit tart, pecan tart and cheese cake), tea and coffee, spiced chai latte, milk shakes and iced coffee and a range of cold drinks. We have a European Hot Chocolate Machine from Italy so that you can have the best Belgian style hot chocolate.

Fudge

The delicious home made fudge comes in a wide variety of flavours. We use real butter and cream and our fudge is as rich, creamy and smooth as you could possibly get. We ship our fudge everywhere.

Our flavours include rocky road, chocolate rum raisin, Irish cream, mint chocolate swirl, orange chocolate swirl, vanilla chocolate swirl, chocolate and caramel - and we are constantly creating new flavours eg Turkish delight, fig and apricot, and wild berry.

Gourmet products

We stock a range of gourmet products for example, lemon cordial, Asian style sticky apricot sauce, sticky apricot marinade, vanilla fudge mir (microwaveable), various jams, and some of our own products such as salad dressings (Marysville Patisserie House Dressing) and Egyptian Dukka.
