Marysville Country Bakery

Good old worlde (but modern!) country style bakery/cafe right in the heart of the village of Marysville on the corner of Murchison Street and Pack Road. Marysville is a picturesque village not far from the cross counry ski fields of Lake Mountain.

We make the best meat pies only using 100% top quality lean beef.

Breakfast

We have a large breakfast menu which includes *Eggs - poached, fried or scrambled, *Bacon and eggs, *Bacon, eggs and tomato, *A full country breakfast - 2 sausages, 2 eggs, tomato and bacon, *Vegetarian - poached eggs, spinach, mushroom, onion, grilled tomato & Hollandaise sauce, *Spaghetti or baked beans (all breakfasts are served with toast). For those who prefer a continental style breakfast, we also do coissants, raisin toast, fruit salad and cereals, and a breakfast trifle - layers of muesli, yoghurt and fruit.

Bread, rolls, pastries, quiches, cakes and slices

We do a wide range of bread/rolls, pastries, cakes and slices - white, wholemeal, muesli loaf, sticks and rolls, foccacias; cream sponge, cream cake, lemon meringe, fruit flan, muffins, cup cake, Danish, yeast buns, scrolls (apple, cinnamon and jam), custard tarts, finger buns, logs (Boston, cinnamon and apple), raison loaf, quiches, donuts (cinnamon, iced, jam), yo yos, scones and jam tarts. We offer Devonshire teas - 2 scones with cream and homemade jam and a pot of tea.

Sandwiches

We offer a great selection of sandwiches - home cooked chicken or roast beef, ham, tuna, eggs, salad, meat and salad and lots of extras.

Pies etc

We do great pies such as steak and kidney, curry, chicken and vegetable, Bushmans, steak and onion, pastie and cottage pie.

Lunch menu

Our lunch menu includes chicken schnizel, lasagne, fritata, salmon patties and quiche.

Super Savers

Our Super Saver menu includes honey & oat slice, honey & nut slice, Granny slice, apple muffin, sausage roll, and egg and bacon pie.

Salads

We do mixed salad, potato salad and coleslaw.

Drinks

We offer hot chocolate, a range of teas and coffees, milkshakes and juices.

Weddings, Functions, Groups and Special Needs

We can cater for your special event. We cater for outside weddings (for about 20-150 people). Bus groups are welcome - bookings are preferred for groups of more than 20.

We can cater for coeliacs with gluten free meals if given advanced notice.
