Tearooms and Restaurant
Come and experience the breathtaking views and natural beauty of Cambewarra Mountain Lookout - your hosts, Robyn and Bill Povey, together with their team of friendly staff, will be delighted to look after you.The Tearooms and Restaurant with its wonderful wide outdoor deck, is perched high on the summit of the Cambewarra Range. 'The Lookout' commands a magnificent panorama of Nowra and the Shoalhaven, stretching from Coolangatta Mountain, in the north, down to Pigeon House Mountain, just inland from Ulladulla, in the south. The spectacular view also includes Point Perpendicular and the world renowned, Jervis Bay National Park. Some people come just for the view, however most come back for the food!
You can also observe the wonderful wildlife of the area as magnificent King Parrots, Kookaburras and Lyrebirds are regular visitors to 'The Lookout' and the majestic Wedge Tailed Eagles soaring overhead is a sight to behold, while you sip your Cappuccino! In the evening, you may even see a Wombat wandering across the lawn.
Enjoy a Breakfast with a view on the verandah, or for a Morning or Afternoon Tea, you could try our famous scones or other homemade baked treats including carrot and pecan cake and creamy baked cheesecake. Lunch is also available, with the chefs at 'The Lookout' being renowned for their Daily Homemade Soups. See our Sample Menu below for further details. We also do Fresh Sandwiches at your request.
Catering and Functions
Robyn & Bill would be thrilled to provide the Venue and the Catering for your Special Function. Evening Functions and Group Bookings are their Specialty. The Restaurant is BYO and Bookings are essential for functions.Gift Shop and Gallery
