The Nocturnal Donkey

The Nocturnal Donkey, as its name suggests, is a casual, relaxed restaurant with great Italian food produced by a chef with an Italian background. Seafood is a specialty as can be seen from the sample menu below. We only use the best quality Australian seafood. We have the popular soft shell crab on our menu. Seafood Delight is another mixed seafood dish containing grilled fish, marinated prawns, oysters, scallops, mussels and crab. We also do garlic or chilli prawns, flathead tails and Atlantic salmon

Our steaks are also popular - Porterhouse, Eye fillet, Steak Neptune and Fillet mignon. We use only grainfed beef. Veal is classic Italian fare and we do Veal Scalloppine with your choice of sauce (Pepato, Vino Bianco, Fungi, Madeira and Lemone). We do a number of chicken dishes (Mango Chicken, Chicken Arribiatti and Chicken Camembert) as well as a wide range of pastas. You can combine the pasta of your choice (tortellini, agnolotti, penne, spaghetti, fettucini and Gnocchi) with your favourite sauce (Napoli, Matriciana, Calabrese, Alfredo, Carbonara, Fungi, Primavera, Mariana, Pescatore and Gamberi). In addition to the salads listed in the sample menu below, we do a Greek salad, warm chicken salad and avocado and prawn salad.

We are licensed but you can BYO wine.
