Description
The Old Dairy and its Location
The Old Dairy is a delightful, rustic, private, fully self contained 1 bedroom country retreat - the ideal place for a couple to escape from city life and enjoy the peace and quiet of the country. The Old Dairy offers country charm with privacy and seclusion. It is situated on 27 acres of rolling hills and countryside, with views over the green rolling hills of Robertson, from the living & dining room, kitchen and bathroom. Located midway between Sydney (90 minutes) and Canberra (90 minutes) and only 30 minutes from Wollongong, it is the ideal rural retreat.There is a combined living and dining area, along with a well equipped kitchen. Generous breakfast provisions are provided, including cereals, sausages, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, free range eggs, bread and orange juice.
There is a separate laundry with washing machine and dryer.
The verandah and outdoor table and chairs overlook the green rolling hills of Robertson.
History, Nearby Villages & Things To Do
The Old Dairy is built on land originally used as a golf course for the famous Hotel Robertson in the 1920s (later a monastery, now Ranelagh Guesthouse). It became a farm in the 1930s. Today Sentinel Farm has acres of landscaped gardens with daffodils in spring, rhododendrons, azaleas and roses and the red-gold colours of deciduous trees in autumn.The historic village of Robertson is only minutes away, and it is only a short drive to Burrawang and just 25 minutes from the cafés, restaurants and boutiques of Bowral.
It is also close to Belmore, Carrington and Fitzroy Falls and various bushwalking tracks. There are numerous golf courses nearby, bicycle and horseriding, fishing, antique, craft and specialty shops, galleries, markets, vineyards, country pubs and more. Perhaps take a trip to the coast via the picturesque Kangaroo Valley.

Cancellations up to 48 hours prior to your arrival will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of your deposit. Cancellations made less than 48 hours prior to arrival will receive no deposit refund.
