About one kilometre of Brogers Creek tumbles through moss-covered boulders and small cascades with waterfalls and deep swimming holes to form Kanangra’s western boundary. About 25 acres of pristine rainforest (including walking trails) are home to a vast range of trees including towering red cedars, three metre high tree ferns and lilli pillies. Wild orchids and birds nest ferns abound. Kanangra is also home to wombats, quolls and wallabies. Lyrebirds, black cockatoos, mopokes and whip birds complement the many parrots, wood ducks, kookaburras and honey eaters - a nature lovers delight.

The renovated colonial bungalow (circa 1920s) has been tastefully decorated and comprises of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 lounge areas and state of the art kitchen.
