Devon Cottage
Devon Cottage is a two storey, quaint and rustic slab cottage with a delightful, period bathroom including hip bath. The cottage, originally a fruit pickers' hut (c.1880) on an orchard at Yerrinbool, was reconstructed on the site at Southdown. An extra storey was added using recycled materials and timbers. The cottage is located in a sylvan setting of hedges, trees, ponds and garden rooms.The rustic, original slab walls of the cottage are complemented by an eclectic collection of country style Victorian furniture and bric a brac. Upstairs is a large bedroom/lounge with queen size bed and windows overlooking the rose and cottage gardens and duck pond. An old sofa invites you to relax in front of the TV. During the winter months, the underfloor heating ensures comfort. Downstairs has a cosy living area with a lounge, dining corner and for the colder months, a wood fire. An old fashioned kitchen provides all cooking facilities and a full English breakfast basket (complimentary) is provided for your stay. Devon Cottage provides a wonderfully romantic hideaway for two.
Southdown Estate and Cottages
The cottage is one of three, set in 6 acres of formal landscaped gardens within the historic 1857 Southern Highlands "Southdown" estate.Few accommodation places offer 3 unique self-contained cottages. Even fewer offer a throughly original feel. Southdown does both, and demands that you dream a little.

Prices include local taxes and are in Australian Dollars. All prices are for the entire holiday house/holiday cottage, not per person.

Terms and conditions: 50% deposit to be paid when booking made. Balance to be paid 21 days prior to arrival date.
Payment in full if booking is made within 21 days of arrival date. Your credit card acts as a bond against any damage or loss CANCELLATION POLICY - 15% of the total booking value is payable if cancellation is made more than 21 days prior to the arrival date and the full value is payable if cancellation is made less than 21 days prior to arrival date. TRANSFERS - Transfer of booking to another date will be permitted if your booking can be replaced by another booking.
