The Venue
Once a working sheep station, Anketell Forest is now a wildlife refuge and part of the unique Bolivia Hill/Deepwater bio region.The Shearing Shed has been renovated to provide a spacious and comfortable accommodation venue for couples, families or groups.
And with 2000ac of private forest to roam, Anketell Forest is perfect for bushwalkers, birdwatchers and botanists.
Musician & Pet Friendly
With drum kit, piano, guitar, stage and concert PA, the Shearing Shed is perfect for a musical gathering or party. Slide back the unique 6m wall to open the living area onto the covered outdoor stage.Bring your well behaved dog for extra fun.
The Region
The northern New England Tablelands are Australia's newest wine region. There are dozens of wineries within a short drive of Anketell Forest.Sub-tropical to sub-alpine national parks are all within an easy 30-90 minute drive.
Fishing and fossicking are all nearby.
Space for campervans or tents available.
Pricing
Prices include local taxes and are in Australian Dollars. All prices are for the entire holiday house, not per person.

Bedroom configuration
The Sunrise Room has one queen bed.
The Sunset Room has one queen bed and one single. Another single is in the Sun Lounge. Two sofa doubles are in the large living area. |
Bathroom configuration
Two en-suite bathrooms each with a bath, overhead rain shower, basin and toilet. Both bathrooms feature local stone floors and great views.
