The Restaurant
Nick’s Restaurant is nestled in the lush green countryside of the Atherton Tablelands.Nick's is a fully licensed restaurant and is owner operated by Nick and Gina Crameri since 1986. They are still as enthusiastic today as when they started their business and are passionate in what they do. Their restaurant is well recognized as an award-winning establishment. They have a fantastic team of 15 staff who provide exceptional service. Most of the staff have been employed by Nick and Gina for over 5 years plus they continuously train young people. Nick and Gina love the hospitality industry, especially meeting people from around the world.
Nick’s serves Swiss Italian cuisine and modern Australian dishes, from the a la carte menu. The range of eating experiences on offer at Nick’s are: - morning and afternoon teas; light or full lunches; dinners; special functions and events and takeaway meals. All the drinks are served from their rustic Yodeller's Bar.
On-site accommodation at Birds ‘n’ Bloom Cottages is available, so you can walk to a comfortable bed after a wonderful night out.
Over the past 20 years, Nick’s has received many awards–of–excellence for great food, entertainment and theme nights. The ambience and atmosphere is unique, and for many patrons it has been the highlight of their holidays in Australia.
They can accommodate people’s special dietary requirements, including a variety of vegetarian meals as well as a full children’s menu. The Restaurant and amenities are accessible for wheelchairs. There is a baby change facility and ample free car parking.
The Restaurant has an award-winning garden of native Australian trees, shrubs and tropical fruit trees. Nine months of the year, the Atherton Tablelands experiences warm and sunny weather with temperatures averaging 25C. Nick and his team use the freshest and best products from the local region for their a la carte menu. They pride themselves on offering a professional, courteous and efficient service, located in the heritage village of Yungaburra.
Dining
Enjoy a relaxed meal on our outdoor timber decking. The indoor area features high timber ceilings surrounded by large glass windows and European ambience. Enjoy your dining experience by soaking up the intimate and friendly atmosphere, as Nick’s team prides themselves on giving personalised service.Nick’s team concentrates on providing well-presented dishes with generous portions, giving attention to detail, plus value for money from the a la carte menu for lunch and dinner.
Nick’s Restaurant is surrounded by gardens, which have been planted with over 100 native and fruit trees as well as seasonal vegetables and a herb garden. Visitors are invited to take a stroll through the gardens and sample it’s fruity delights before settling in for their tasty meal. Nick and his team of chefs combine their European culinary flair with Australian native ingredients to create original dishes, which are unique to the Restaurant.
Yodeller's Bar
The ‘Yodeller’s Bar’ is constructed from local granite, wrought iron and local timber, known as Sally Wattle. We offer an extensive range of beverages and boast over 20 different types of European and Australian bottled and draft beer, as well as a wide variety of schnapps and grappa. The wine list features premium Australian wines, carefully selected from major wine regions of Australia. Wine can be purchased by the bottle or glass, or you can enjoy one of the many tropical cocktails, blended using fresh fruits from the local area.Morning and Afternoon Teas
When Nick’s is open, they can provide you with a variety of teas, coffee and a selection of cakes, scones, biscuits and continental pastries. A-la-Carte Menu
The a la carte menu at Nick’s uses local products and wherever possible organic ingredients. They use the herbs grown in the chefs’ garden and picked daily for flavouring the dishes. Drinks Menu
Select from aperitifs, beers, cocktails, red and white wines, soft drinks, and digestives. They also have non-alcoholic wine and mocktails with the price range to suit most budgets, eg wine from $22 to $60 per bottle.Dessert Menu
All of Nick’s desserts are homemade including non-dairy and gluten free sweets. Treat yourself to some of their delicious desserts eg Swiss Apple Pie, Sacher Torte, Macadamia Cake with Fresh Fruit Salad and Meringue. A popular old favourite is Banana Split using Sugar Bananas grown on the property.Takeaway Menu
Popular with the locals after a hard day at work, is the take-away service. Visitors staying in the Yungaburra area can order take-away and eat their dinner in peace and privacy. Customers may order take-away meals from the a la carte menu.Nick’s take-away menu is on a flyer which includes popular dishes such as Pork Spare Ribs, Veal Schnitzel, Pastas, Fish and Chips, Roast of the day, Salads, Vegetables, Garlic Breads and a selection of Cakes.
Children's Menu
Nick’s children’s menu has been designed to be attractive to the young ones. The menu has a cartoon colouring page that entertains while deciding from a variety of meals such as Pastas, Frankfurter, Veal Schnitzel, Fish and Chips and Mini Banana Splits and Ice creams and much more. Presentation, tastes and portion size has been aimed for children’s appetite. The children can be entertained by trying to work out the mind-boggling games and puzzles that are available.
