Description
Our award winning country restaurant (circa 1884) offers lunch, brunch, munch... and dinner in a fabulous atmosphere. With an emphasis on local produce, we offer a variety of fresh, imaginative and tasty food . We are fully licensed and invite you to relax in our bar and try one or more of our Schnapps - we have the largest varities of Schnapps in Australia!
We serve morning and afternoon teas - our famous scones and blackberry jam is a great interlude while travelling the Alpine Way.
Features of our restaurant include: award-winning food, a terrace overlooking the Thredbo Valley, the best coffee in the mountains, fresh local produce - as much as possible comes from our herb and vegie garden and huge open fires with soups and gluhwein served from them. During the winter months our huge log fireplace welcomes guests.
Crackenback Cottage Restaurant is an ideal area for a meeting, function or get together (farewells, birthdays etc), as we have an upstairs function area for up to 20 with its own bar.
We are open for lunch, brunch or munch and serve scones and home made blackberry jam. ...all while the kids get lost in the maze. Coach groups are welcome.
The unique award winning restaurant is also ideal for weddings, other functions, kid's parties and anything else you can think of. In fact, Crackenback Farm is the perfect place to spend your wedding day with its unique, personal and of course romantic atmosphere, stunning country setting, gorgeous gardens - perfect for a ceremony and on-site Crackenback Chapel.
