Description
Rivers Restaurant at the River Inn, Thredbo, will appeal to both families and couples. This award winning restaurant is located at the River Inn, Thredbo close to the Gunbarrel chair lift It is quiet and relaxing, yet informal. The menu is comprehensive, and there are several options for kids, including some simple practical meals such as spaghetti bolognaise, hot dog and chips, pizza, and fish and chips. The list of appetising main meals has something for every taste.
Rivers Restaurant is licensed and seats 90 people. It is open nightly throughout the ski season and will open during the summer months. Entrées are under $16 and mains include “Are you game?” a braised duck leg in a black beer, Emu & lemon myrtle sausage & Seared Ostrich fillet on black eyed beans as well as the more traditional cuisine. Children are catered to with a childrens menu.
Try to save some room for dessert because the choices are sure to tempt. The restaurant is licensed and has a fantastic selection of red and white wines, some of which are available by the glass.
