Merrijig Motor Inn Resort

Set in lovely rural gardens on the banks of the Delatite River, the Merrijig Motor Inn Resort offers excellent value and warm hospitality.

We are in the heart of Victoria's High Country and just a 10 minute drive to Mt Buller's entrance. We are 17 kms from Mansfield and just a two and a half hour drive from Melbourne.

Accommodation Options

A number of room options are available from rooms with queen beds, to family rooms to rooms with various numbers of bunks (the room types are listed below).

All rooms have ensuite bathrooms, doonas on all beds, electric blankets on all queen and double beds, TV, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, alarm clock and hairdryer. All linen is provided. In addition, all family rooms have a dining table and couch.

Facilities

Three of the family rooms have disabled facilities. A DVD player and DVDs are available for hire. A bus to Mt Buller picks up at Merrijig Motor Inn Resort

There is a fully licensed restuarant and bar open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. There is also a jucie bar and BBQ. We are also licensed to take drinks to rooms.

We offer a tennis court, swimming pool (summer months), heated spa/sauna, convenience store (bread, milk, tea, coffee etc), guest laundry and drying room. We also hire ski gear (chains, ski clothing, skis and snow boards), fishing gear (fishing rods, lures and full kits), mountain bikes and helmets, as well as walking boots and wet weather gear. Additionally we stock some merchandise - hats, caps, shorts, jackets, beanies, scarves, gloves etc.

What to do when you visit

There is heaps to do in the vicintiy of Merrijig - skiing/snowboarding in the winter, horse riding (High Country Horses is just nearby), 4 wheel driving, bushwalking, fishing, bird watching, mountain or dirt bike riding, hot air ballooning, camel riding. You can also visit some of the many local vineyards/wineries/cellar doors , Jamieson Brewery or Mansfield Zoo.
