The Store

D.B.'s Gourmet Goods is a haven of fine foods and produce. Whether you are staying for the weekend , the week or you are one of the locals, it is a must to drop in to Dennis' delightful cottage and explore the amazing array of tempting foods and produce he has on offer.
The cottage, set in the delightful town of Robertson, is a traveller's delight, offering an extensive range of fine produce, beautifully displayed in various rooms. Pick up your entire meal, choosing from the range of entrées, main meals and desserts. Maybe you would prefer to take home the ingredients to cook up a culinary storm, or take the option of a Harvest take home dinner pack where you just add the meat or vegetables. Whichever is your choice, Dennis has an extensive knowledge in the industry and will undoubtedly be able to help.

A range of homemade SOUPS (Eg fish; pea & ham; chicken, vegetable & noodle; vegetable/beef).

All natural DUMPLINGS - Chicken/Mushroom; Pork/Prawn; Pork/Spinach. Steam or simmer in a broth or fry and serve in dipping sauce.

Preservative free Vegetarian SAMOSAS

All natural (no artificial additives or fillers), home baked GOURMET PIES Eg. Chicken & Leek; Beef & Guiness; Lamb & Rosemary (medium, serves 2-4 and small, serves 1)

Assorted array of handmade PASTAS (Eg Crab, Mascarpone & Smoked garlic Ravioli; Cracked pepper Fettucine)

INDIAN BREADS and CURRY dinners.

Country LAMB hotpot; Chicken tenderloin and vegetable tandoori; Bangalow Pork with vino cotto & pear sausages; Chicken roll with mushrooms & porcini.
SPRING ROLLS; Spinach PAKORA; Cowra smoked TROUT; QUICHES; Smoked & PEKING DUCK.

Always keep a few of the Harvest take home Dinner Packs on hand, so you can prepare exotic or traditional meals in 5 minutes or less. All you do is add meat or vegetables! Eg. Pure Tandoori; Provencale; Vegie Samba and Madras Curry.

Then, select from the various cakes, quiches, frittatas, pecan pies, pates and cold meats (Eg Barossa ham; Lemon pepper Chicken Breast) and cornfed free range chickens.

Don't forget to take home a bag or two of the taste of the bush - BUSH MUESLI with Lemon Myrtle and Wattleseed OR Macadamia & Quandong MUESLI (premium muesli filled with Macadamia nuts, crystallised Quandongs, dried Cranberries, nuts, seeds, fruits and Australian native flavours) and some of the local free range eggs and one of the fresh breads (try the Scottish Malt Fruit Bread - the BEST raisin toast), assorted jams and specialty teas.

Dennis has a huge array of fresh herbs and spices, plus everything from french cous cous, Bellata Gold pure durum pasta, brown ale and garlic mustard, Tasmanian fish chowder, Persian red lentils, fetta antipasto, black olive fusilli to quail eggs.

The Treasury Trove

Here you will find an eclectic mix of antiques, vintage and antique American Quilts and various embroidered Chinese and Japanese kimonos, uchikakes and shauls.
