Description

U-Thong Thai Restaurant first opened in Cammeray in 1982 as a small restaurant of 20 seats. In 1986, we expanded our facilities at 439 Miller St. Cammeray to 250 seats to suit the customers. In 1996, we re-opened in a newly renovated building, with the same excellence in cooking and friendly service ready to please all with the taste for fine Thai food. Now more than two decades on, we are still here to welcome you to U-Thong.

Authentic Thai restaurant providing some of the best Thai cooking in Sydney. U-Thong has been operating in Cammeray for 25 years with a strong local following. We use only traditional methods and no MSG is added.

Satay Beef or Chicken (4 pieces)   $8.00
Tenderbrochettes of beef or chicken, marinated in twelve different spices then charcoal grilled. Served with tasty golden peanut sauce and fresh cucumber with onions, carrot and chilli.
Gang Dang (Red Curry)   $15.50-17.00
Your choice of beef, pork, chicken or lamb finely sliced and cooked in a dry red curry paste, coconut milk, with chopped peanuts, fresh chilli, basil and kaffir lime leaves.
Toong Thong (Golden Bags)   $8.00
Minced pork and prawn, cooked with crab meat, cooked with shallots, coriander, pepper, sugar, and salt, then wrapped in an egg pastry and deep fried. Served with a sweet chilli sauce.
Gang Red Yarng (Roasted Duck Curry)   $16.50
Cooked country style roasted duck, selected vegetables with added pineapple pieces for that extra country style flavour.
Kao Kreeb Goong (Prawn Cracker Dip)   $8.00
A rich creamy prawn and chicken mince dip, cooked with coconut milk, spices and coriander. Served with tasty prawn crackers.

Popular Thai noodles cooked with a variety of vegetables, bean curd, dried shrimp (optional), egg (optional), garlic, topped with crushed peanuts, bean sprouts and a slice of lemon and dried chilli.

Your choice of pan fried beef, pork, chicken or lamb, cooked with pineapple, tomatoes, cucumber, onions, capsicum and shallots with tangy traditional Thai sweet and sour sauce.
