Description

Jenolan Caves and the Blue Mountains Day Tour

Enjoy our most comprehensive tour of all that the Blue Mountains has to offer. See the magnificent Three Sisters, the breathtaking canyon views, the spectacular Jenolan Caves and the Blue Lake at Jenolan Caves.

As you travel from Sydney to the Blue Mountains, enjoy the magnificent views of the Jamieson Valley and the spectacular Three Sisters. You will learn about Aboriginal legends and folklore.

There will be an opportunity to ride the Scenic Railway - 250 vertical metres into the thick lush valley or ride the Scenic Skyway and enjoy the breathtaking 360 degree views of the canyons that make up the Blue Mountains (additional cost, optional).

As you enter the Jenolan Caves area, you will see the unusual Blue Lake. These caves are Australia's largest and best known underground limestone caves.

The tour includes a guided tour of the Lucas, Imperial or Chifley Caves where you will discover the deep chamber of limestone formations.

From Jenolan Caves we go to Katoomba, the capital of the Blue Mountains. Here you can enjoy the scenic cliff top drives and views of the beautiful Megalong Valley.

Take the time to enjoy lunch at the Caves Guest House (own expense).

Jenolan Caves Optional Upgrade

Upgrade to the Adventure Caving Option. This is for the more adventurous, advanced guided exploration of Elder Cave.
